Orcas Island Project

Orcas Island Project
Location: Orcas Island, WA

Here is a job we did back in February. It is on top of a high mountain on Orcas Island on a very exposed face. The home was built in 2004 or so, but has already had a lot of rot issues due to severe weather. The thick finish looked great (aside from the bright orange), but it was sealing moisture inside the logs that led to many of the rot issues. This home took about a month and a half and was very difficult because of access and weather and the amount of rot repair.

We blasted with walnut media, sanded, and stained with TWP 1500 series Dark Oak. Also did many feet of rotten ends and main logs.

In the end it turned from a pumpkin that stood out like a beacon on top of the mountain to a nice cabin in the woods.

Closed Captioning
Closed captioning provides a transcript for the audio track of a video presentation that is synchronized with the video and audio tracks. Captions are generally visually displayed over the video, which benefits people who are deaf and hard of hearing, and anyone who cannot hear the audio due to noisy environments. Most of our website’s video content includes automated captions. Learn how to turn captioning on and off in YouTube.

Volume Controls
Your computer, tablet, or mobile device has volume control features. Each video and audio service has its own additional volume controls. Try adjusting both your device’s volume controls and your media players’ volume controls to optimize your listening experience.
