Log Cabin Fire Restoration Project

Log Cabin Fire Restoration Project
Location: Bothell, WA

This is the largest project we have done. A fire inside inside the laundry room caused by a faulty dryer vent created significant smoke damage throughout the cabin. The entire cabin was stripped of any siding, appliances, cabinets, flooring, etc. We came in and blasted the logs with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to neutralize the smoke odor. We then sanded and stained using Permachink Lifeline interior. Great stain for interiors. We then chinked and were done. About 2-3 months of work total.

The exterior was refinished two years before the fire. We cleaned and applied another coat of stain to the outside.

Closed Captioning
Closed captioning provides a transcript for the audio track of a video presentation that is synchronized with the video and audio tracks. Captions are generally visually displayed over the video, which benefits people who are deaf and hard of hearing, and anyone who cannot hear the audio due to noisy environments. Most of our website’s video content includes automated captions. Learn how to turn captioning on and off in YouTube.

Volume Controls
Your computer, tablet, or mobile device has volume control features. Each video and audio service has its own additional volume controls. Try adjusting both your device’s volume controls and your media players’ volume controls to optimize your listening experience.
